You hold the selection button on the stalk while pressing the trip odometer reset button. Pressing them both for a few seconds resets the MPG and average MPH. I can now cross that off of my list! If it's the same as my 2004 Mondeo, there's a little stalk between de dials. When the Mpg's are reading, press the stalk for a couple of seconds, and then it should reset. Resetting the consumption.
