		<description>I figured it out! You hold the selection button on the stalk while pressing the trip odometer reset button. Pressing them both for a few seconds resets the MPG and average MPH. I can now cross that off of my list!</description>

		<description>I tried holding it for a couple of seconds, but it won&#039;t reset. The trip odometer resets just fine, but the fuel mileage one wont. Our Escape is just a few second hold, and it resets.</description>

		<description>Resetting the consumption. If it&#039;s the same as my 2004 Mondeo, there&#039;s a little stalk between de dials. When the Mpg&#039;s are reading, press the stalk for a couple of seconds, and then it should reset.</description>
